The law has been submitted to Bankova, Hubs reports.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrei Parubii has signed the law on introduction of amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (regarding justice) and submitted it for signing by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko – Speaker of Parliament informed today.
“Today, in the morning I signed amendments to the Constitution, as the five-day term expired; and by this signature and submission to the President we actually give a start for large-scale judicial reform”, - Parubii said.
As it was reported, at the session of parliament on June 2 the people’s deputies adopted the draft law №3524 on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine in terms of justice. 335 people’s deputies have voted for the relevant decision while 300 are required. The President submitted the document to the Parliament within the framework of judicial reform.
Within the framework of judicial reform the Rada approved amendments to the Main Law in terms of justice in the first reading in February.
